Is It Legal To Host Ipb 1.3?

    you can only redistribute 1.3 and below.

    I am not sure about this, everyone say's its legal to have 1.3.1 but any version higher, not paid, is illegal. However, many hosting site's have it included in their fantastico. But back to your qeustion, idk, but you can get it from here, LEGAL:

    1.3 is not illegal. They used to give it out for free because it is an old version. They stopped though because some people were having security problems with it. A lot of boards still use 1.3 who haven't updated so you can use it too. I also believe that you can distribute it, seeing as they were handing it out for free in the past.

    no you cant diablo. anything 1.3.1 and above is illegal to redistribute, considered the 2.0.0 is virtually the real deal just with the words trial written in the copyright.
