Ati Drivers Problemo :s

    :P been having this problem of the past few weeks, where my graphics is just totaly lame... iv also been having trouble with my graphics drivers, i installed ati drivers, and it doesnt seem to do anything and yes it is ati drivers im supposed to be installing (ie not nvidea)

    Graphics card: Radeon 9800 Series.

    Graphics used to be great on the card, messed around with it a while back and been broke eversince :huh: any ideas?

    What type of "broken" how is it screwing up...?

    haha oops, forgive me im tierd :)...

    Problem = Very Bad Graphics + u can see the pixels on pics and gradient effects etc...

    Sounds to me like you've got a cookin' vid card.

    You most probably need better cooling in your PC I think.

    Better cooling= 4 80 mm fans+ and for the geek little water tubes to constantly carry out heat. You can find several cases for various prices at newegg.com

    ^wow dont talk.

    Download everest home edition and tell use the gfx card temp when you first turn on your pc, also tell us your cpu temp. And then in mid game switch to everest and tell us the gfx and cpu temps then aswell.

    What games are you trying to play and on what quality (high, medium, etc).

    Also as for drivers download driver cleaner and remove your ati drivers. Then install the latest catalyst drivers.

    im not sure if thats hot or not... i have over 4 fans in my pc to cool it down :/ also both sides to the pc are open...

    Hmm...we need the temps for when you are in a game at least 5-10 minutes..

    if those are them, then they are ok.

    its not just game graphics though, its the full pc, like with my desktop wallpaper for eg, or the login screen, u can see all the lines of color :-/

    messed up video card is my guess? have it checked out by local comp store?

    mabey its not the card it could be your monitor.. how old is you monitor and what model?

    Kingkilla that could be very true m8, ill look for a new monitor asap :D

    i got given a monitor a while back, its pritty old Belinea Model Monitor, i had color loss problems a few weeks back, thats now fixed but im pritty sure the monitors shot.

    If thats those temps are at idle can you tell use what processor you have because they are really high if its not a precott or nothwood.
