I would spell check your content.

Looks alright but not very appealing for a template designer. The brushing ruins it completely. Also, it needs at least one color.

white, black, brown and grey are all colors :)

not every template needs a vibrant color. Especially not a portfolio where the design of the portfolio is supposed to represent the author and their designs, not the generic medium meant to impress everyone :)

LOL! First of all the only colour there is brown. White, black and grey are actually shades.

Secondly a portfolio is a perfect template to use colour, and who said it had to be vibrant. You want to grab a persons attention to then make them view more of your work. If they come along and see a boring, not very attractive template then why should they look at the rest of your work, they will probably presume it's all of the same quality.

It's a vey dull template, it NEEDS colour, the navigation could do with a little work too. I like the general idea of it, I just think you need to spend a little more time on it.

actually they are not shades, they are CONTRASTS, thanks for attempting to correct me though :)

as I said, unless your opening up a design BUSINESS, a portfolio is based on you, not what other people want. A portfolio is a representation of you, which is why I dont like it when I see people buying portfolio templates. The color scheme is what he wanted, it represents his type of work, it should be left as is unless he is going to try to sell professional works. At this point the traditional saying of, "the customer is always right" takes place.
