Media Player?

    When I want to watch videos that other people post, my media player when i press play it doesnt go doesnt say anything. anyone can plz help me?

    not sure can u please explain ur problem or rephrase what u jus said?

    cuz what i get from that is

    u see posted vids
    and press play...

    several things:
    which OS are you using?
    which media player?
    which versian?
    do you have any codecs?
    etc...

    most of the vids that ppl post are in windows in Ff or IE.

    You can d/l plugins to do these but it also depends on what browser u are usin............also u have to wait til it gets to 100%buffering (basically means that it has d/l and is ready to play)

    I'd do things in this order:

    1. Check that you have the plugins (it should prompt you to install them or visit the microsoft / mozilla website)

    2. Check that Windows media player is updated by using Windows Updater

    3. Try and Download the files and then play them

    4. Install the DivX Codec (search on google)

    5 Install WinAmp and update it and try and play the files

    If winamp works and WMP doesnt then your central drivers are messed and you need to reinstall windows as this happened to me.
