    Note: This game is freeware!

3 years ago, i got a burned CD from someone with the name Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory on it. I had no idea where the game was about, so i just put it into my pc and started playing...

I hear you saying: 3 years ago? Why would you want to review a game that was brought out 3 years ago? It's the same as reviewing a game as Call of Duty 1 or Fifa 2003, but this has something special...

The game is a Online First-Person Shooter (FPS), and the most levels are on about the 2nd World War. In every map there are 2 side: Allies (America) and Axis (Germany), most of the time the Allies have to attack something (for example, have to escort a tank to a place, which shoots the big door, then go trough the door, get the gold and escape on your jeep) and the Axis have to make that not to happen.

There are 5 Classes in the game:
Soldier: Has the most powerful weapons to choose, for example a bazooka and a flamethrower
Medic: Has the ability to give team members a resurrection injection and also the ability to give medpacks to team members and/or himself
Engineer: The engineer is capable of placing mines and disarming mines. He's also capable of planting dynamites and constructing things as a bridge
Field Ops: The Field Ops can do airstrikes and has the ability to give team members and/or himself ammo packs
Covert Ops: The Covert Ops can choose from 3 weapons, 2 sniper guns and 1 fast shooting guns. Also, the Covert Ops can destroy Command Posts, and is capable of stealing suits of the enemy, so they won't recognize you as the enemy.

Also, during the game you can get Experience Points (XP) by for example, making kills or as engineer building things, as covert ops stealing suits etc. The only bad thing about it is that you won't save those Experience Points, you lose them when you leave the server. With Experience Points you can get upgrades like faster shooting etc.

The Graphics of this game aren't really nice, they are reasonable, but it's not pleasing the eye really much, but you won't really notice it during playing. The sound is okay.

There is still a big community around this game, although the game is more then 3 years old, there are still coming out new maps and the servers are still really filled.

    This game gets a......

    83/100

    Score from me, why?

The game is free to play, is quite addicting ( i played it for 2 years) and has a nice community. The only minus point are the graphics, they aren't really bad but also not really nice.

Hmm lag? That must be the server you chose, i never had lag. Just pick servers with a low ping ;)

I've played this game for a week or so, pretty fun, but I really didn't know how to play it. :P Counter Strike is better. :)

Its very different to counterstrike. Personally I think DoD is slightly better but I played W:ET for quite a while and probably would go back to it as its great fun, especially playing as the Covert Ops dressed in enemy uniforms.

Its a team based WW2 shooter, with wave deployment and XP. Great fun and there are plenty of servers out there without much lag. And its free. If you havnt played It I'd strongly suggest you tried it.
