New Gfx Card

    I got a new gfx card installed but now i do not see my start menu. explorer.exe is running. what's the problem?
    The card is an ati radeon.

    Hmm ive bought 2 ATI radeons.. which specific model e.g x800 , x850

    I dont think it has anything to do with your GFX card.

    I agree dont think its your gfx card also this should be in computer setion

    No I Got ? Does Your Screen Like Dont Show The icons To Caue Iv Had This It Was Like A Virus And Spyware But Iv Got That Its Not The ATI CARD Enless You Used THe ATI So Much It Wont Work I Overheated My in 1 Week And It Cost 899.99 And It Broke Cracked Lol!!

    Its definately not your grahpic card's problem. Maybe you could check your screen's setting or resolution.

    Make sure that the controls on your monitor has not been reset. This is apart from any settings in Windows. If your monitor has been reset to stretch the image too much, the taskbar, usually on the bottom of the screen, will not be there. You'll have to play with the monitor settings to shrink the image. If it's not a monitor problem, then it's probably a Windows configuration problem.

    or


    Go to Control Panel, then to the "Task Bar/Start-up Menu Icon" and click on it.
    Go to the option asking if you want to: "AUTOHIDE THE TASK BAR." Remove the checkmark
    from this feature indicating you do not want Auto Hide.

    why would you buy a 9250$ those are crap, for the same price you probably could have gotten a 128mb 9550 or a 128mb x700 don't give me garbage about being ready for the future either, because it isn't even ready for the present, I just replaced a 9250...

    i have a 9250 ( well did )

    did u disable ur old onborad GFX drivers? u know in ur BIO'S

    normally your bios will automatically disable your onboard...

    try the monitor thing said above..
