Trying To Change Ip..

I'm trying to change my ip for no reason, i was reading a how to..but it says there is an ip range on which you can select which one you want.. where is th is ip range?

 

If your behind a router. You can change it there.

 

most of the time your ISP gives your IP, and you cant change it however you want.

You recive that range error because you have another Submask.
For example if your submask is something like:
255.255.255.0
you'll be able to change only yhe last 3 digits of your IP:

example:
Let's say your IP is 88.88.88.10
you'll be able to change only: 88.88.88.XXX

is a lot ot say about this and i'm sure that someone else will be able to explain a lot better

it changes your ip
but i wouldnt recomend it

 

it wont change your ip if you have static. Why wouldnt your recommend it, it wont kill it.
