Anything extreme ever happen to you? If so post and please no spam. This did exactly happen to me but it did to my dad... My dads house burned down not too long ago. Someone came in his house when he wasnt there(soon after he was finished building it) and poured diesel fuel all over everything and lit the place up. By the time the fire department was there it was totally burned down to just ashes. You know what happened after this? Nothing. The insurance company didnt want to pay for any of this because they came up with the excuse that it was arson and he did it himself. He is not in debt or anything like that. It started of because he was suing these people for bringing in a crap load of trailers that werent supposed to be in the vecenity of the neighborhood. Then a few months after my dad went to his property and someone came and beat the crap out of him. Yes he can fight but he didnt want to go to jail so he just defended him self and tried to get the guys to stop beating him up. Well he woke up in the hospital because someone found him lieing in the middle of the street and called the sherif and he came and called an ambulance. Then later on this all resulted in his house being delebrity burned down. Do you have a horrible story or a really awsome story to tell if you do then post.
I was in a car accident a month and a half ago, and only sheer luck kept me from winding up with a broken back, or dead. We were stopped for someone waiting to make a left turn, and were rear-ended by someone going 50 mph, who made no effort to slow down or stop. The force of the impact pushed us into the car in front of us, which in turn was pushed into the car in front of them. The entire back end of the car I was in (I was with my two best friends) was gone - crumpled up to the backseat. I was in the front seat, and had I not been wearing my seatbelt I would have been through the windshield. As it stood, I smashed my shins rather hard on the dashboard (which normally was at my knee-level), which left me unable to really walk for a few days (luckily nothing was broken). The fact that it was me in the front seat was what kept me from being seriously injured, though....my friend Susan, who was in the backseat, has had back surgery before and has steel rods in her back to support and strengthen it. While she did hurt her back in the accident, she's perfectly fine now. Both she and I had to go to the emergency room (our friend Moira, who was driving, was fine) and spent the evening there getting X-rayed and such. I pinched a nerve in my back and even though it's been well over a month, it still hurts me sometimes. However, had I been in the backseat, I likely would have gotten my back broken or been killed. So yeah, that was kinda scary.
A bunch of friends and I lit a kid's crotch on fire... then someone squirted even more lighter fluid on him... so yeah... he wasn't too happy.
My Cat woke up this morning and ate food. My life is exciting :| but yea i'm in near death situations all the time :| its tough
Lets see, I was in a big haunted mansion and we were like 20 ppl in there together. It was dark as hell and only one had a torch me and the others used our cellphones for light, we heard like a big bang somewhere inside and all of us went running like hell I was literlay carried away lol I almost fell off those round stairs that had no barrier to keep you from falling , but a friend of mine caught me in the last minute before I fall. It was a long way to fall down there, If I fell I would have been dead defenitly.
I was run over when I was 13 or 14 while on my bike. I was knocked off, bounced off the car 2-3 times, utterly caving in its bonnet and roof before hitting the ground unconscious (this is what I'm told). I was injured on my leg from where the car hit me first, my back and my head. From the speed of the car I should have either ended up with a broken back or some permanent injury, I escaped with a haematoma on my left leg (basically meaning I couldn't walk on it properly, but had to in order to return it to normal functionality) which took about 6 weeks to heal up, a very bruised back and neck and a series of scars on my leg from friction burns which have healed a bit. I also have 2 identical burns on the top of my feet which look like stigmata. Not sure how they got there. I also woke up with my bed on fire a few weeks ago, fell asleep with my electric blanket on. Escaped with some minor smoke inhalation and the need to throw out my bed and repaint the room.
Before the firestone recall, a tire blew out, and as there was a sheer drop to the right, I veered left. The added torque proceeded to blow the other tire on the same side. Car went into the divider of the highway, over it and onto the roof. It then proceeded to do three spins on its roof before stopping. Neither I nor the passenger had anything but a few scrapes. I still have the shirt I was wearing, its all torn up arounf the shoulders and at the ends of the sleeves, and part of the collar is ripped. But its got to be a lucky shirt, I mean come on, all that and not even a broken bone?
