Well this whole day my internet has been running awful. I'll give a few examples:
    - pictures don't load/load 5% then stop (or sometimes the message "The connection was reset" appears instead of the picture and i mean the normal pictures, not the website slices)
    - i can't join internet games (actually i can enter the game, but when i enter the server itself it instantly disconnects me (examples World of Warcraft, Gunz))
    - on DC++ when i try to search something i get this message:
"*** An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host." and i get kicked out of the hub
    - flash games or games that i play on the browser windows don't load at all

Strangely enough, i'm still able to visit webpages and write this post and even use Yahoo! or MSN and still talk talk to people. The network administrators won't say a thing when i ask them if the internet is undergoing modifications. From what i remember i didn't do anything important or something that would modify the internet connection before it started acting like this and also the firewall is off (yea the Windows XP firewall).
I seriously don't want to spend the day browsing sites at random or play skirmish games, so i'd really appreciate if someone could help me out.
As far as i can tell, it doesn't let me receive data from the internet.

EDIT: Dammit i just realised it's in the wrong section. Sorry for that, can someone move it to Computing ? Thanks.

Try resetting your router and making sure that you have no spyware or virus's on your computer.

well there could be a number of problems to tell you the truth but the quickest way to do this is to go to http://forums.techguy.org/ they will find out everything that is wrong with your computer, before you go there i suggest download Hijack This! from http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html
then press run and save scan DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO ANYTHING AS SOME OF THE FILES IT FINDS YOUR COMPUTER NEEDS TO RUN! just post that log there and they will help you, also post your computer specs and your problem, if you could tell them i sent you, just want to get some cred there :P so yea do that and tell me what happens
