yes you could max BF2 with that, good ram good CPU the ghraphics card is a little expensive. go to Newegg and look through eVGA's 7800 I got both of mine for 320$ each they arent GTXs but they are clocked to GTX speeds from the factory. Also see if you can get a A8N for your mobo from ASUS. Im not a big fan of the Shark case the front door doesnt open past 90 degrees and i garantee you that you will be putting it back on its hinges many many times. I have a CM Stacker from cooler master best case ever IMO comes with 8 fans BTX compatable tons of room for expansion. 9 5.25 bays was 180$ ish.

    My Rigs:
    Pentium D 820 3.0 Ghz
    4 gb Corsair RAM
    2 eVGA 7800 in SLi
    P5ND2-SLi Delux from ASUS
    CM Stacker
Audigy 2 ZS gamer from Creative Labs Sound Card
about 1800$ most parts from Newegg except sound card and case.

    XPc Shuttle case and Mobo
    AMD 3800+ x2
    BFG 7800 GT
    2gb OCZ Platinum

    about 1500$

You can definetly max out BF2. Probly Fear too..

My x800, which is nowhere as good as your gfx card, althought still good, can max out BF2. It doesnt take that much. Your all set. nice rig dude.

switch the motherboard to a DFI LanParty Ultra-D. Also change the powersupply to a Antec Smart Power II 500W PSU as its better than the OCZ.
