25 TO LIFE SCREENSHOTS STORY LINE See the storys unfold through the eyes of Detective Lester Williams of the local Police Department and Andre "Freeze" Francis, the street "lieutenant" of the 22nd St D-Boys, a well established street gang whose greedy philosophy keeps their enemies in fear. Their gritty journeys are conveyed through four intertwined chronicles that culminate into true life lessons. Freeze, a young twenty-something hustler is trying hard to get out the game, stay down with his lifelong crew and avoid his third strike. But when Calderon, Freeze's lifetime homeboy, double crosses him on the last job; it forces Freeze to get revenge, save his only son from a life of crime and survive a series of deadly shootouts. Along the way, Freeze faces-off with Detective Williams and his deadly partner, Maria Mendoza. Freeze must also step to a legion of haters out to kill him... GAME PLAY On a few missions 25 to Life makes witless attempts at offering some team-oriented gameplay but sadly the levels are nothing more than a computer-controlled moron with the same intelligence as the heroine-ridden gang bangers that you’ll be mowing through. The AI teammate has no desire to keep track of you or what you’re doing; there will certainly never be a moment where the two of you are taking cover together waiting for the perfect opening to launch an offensive, which would actually provide some amusement for the single player campaign. I would suggest to the developers that they provide some kind of command interface but there’s no way that it would function properly judging from this blotchy mess of a game. Grahpics Picture this if you can muster it. The gaming world of 25 to Life is exactly like that of Grand Theft Auto but that’s only if you’re playing with a pair of glasses that have had their lenses dipped in a vat of Vaseline. Every single texture in the game has been fudged almost to the point of being unrecognizable. Everything from the blood effects to the laughable flames that engulf characters (causing very little damage) are just plain bad visual work. Player models are all fairly identical, except for the unsurprisingly curvaceous female population which pop-up for a little sex appeal to go with your gangsta mayhem. One major reason is the single player mood is boring and the graphics are honestly not that good. The shotting on the game is horrible and there is nothing to be empressed by this game. The multiplayer is alright...even though this game said it would be a cross of socom and Halo ...it ended up being a comlete waste of money. I give this game 2 thumbs down ...its mostly a game you play for a few hours and then put it down and you wont pick it back up ...lol -Blazeman
Why its unbelievable about how horrible this game is....its has nothing going for it and i wouldn't even want to waste my time with it
I've heard so many BAD things about the graphics.. I like the Vaseline comment, lol.. and on TeamXbox, someone described the graphics as "a concoction of bodily fluids splattered on a wall".. lmfao
