What Is The Saddest Book Youve Ever Read?

I just finished reading 1984 for the gazzilianth time and every time i read it i feel so sad and yet so unbelievably angry about what they did to poor old arthur i hate the fact that it was possible to destroy somthing as beautiful as love. GRRRRRRR i feel so angry its unbelievable so please tell me what makes you so angry or so sad.

 

I don't think it's really appropriate but i've finished reading a series called "Bartimaeus" and I liked it alot, but i hate how the main character is so casually killed off at the end. Just my 2 cents worth, although i've never read 1984. Is it good, and would you reccomend it? I might take a look at it.

This book called dead locked. I read it a long time ago.

 

1984 was a good book yes but a bit boring. Sad ending yes. Not the saddest.

Of Mice and Men was sad as well. Hated the ending.

Scarlet Letter was also a bit sad.... Classic book.

None would classify as saddest though.

 

The child called it or something,it was based on a true story how this kid was tortued and stuff like that.

 

I recomend that you do read 1984 Garrett its an amazing book but it ----s with your head the way they destroy poor arthur i seriously recommend that you do read it tho

I agree. It was an extra novel I had to read this year and I thouroughly enjoyed it.

 

Ok i'll find out where I can get it, probably chapters though.

I'm sure I can withstand a bit of "----s" with my head though

By the way Renagade I think it's spelt Renegade.... Just saying because my name in a clan i'm with for Call of Duty my name is -=K']['M=Renegade (KTM = Kill the Machines, wierd name I think).

It is spelt with an "E" but I originally had it with an "A" so I kept with it. You're right
