hey, everytime i use my computer, it freezes, its annyoing, i have macafee and new 2006 norton, but if i open ie or firefox, takes like 5 min, if i open a folder, it has the flashligh thing and never opens, i dont wanna reboot it but will if nothing else helps, i have a dell 2400 about 2 3 years old
I'd say it's because you have Mcaffe and nortan, and they have a history of not working well together, and that must take a Massive amount of RAM which is why you computer is going sp slow. i'd stick with using just one. You'd prbably have better prtection with just one because like i said Mcafee and nortan have some issues with each other
I had problems similar to yours, but that was because my cousin put games that came with spyware onto my grampa's computer. I just backed everything up and reformatted. then it was fine after that, my grampa doesn't let her install games on his computer anymore it's either your ram or spyware/virus...
