Man, you have a better video card than I do... Just put it on low settings, put the V-Sync on, and get the graphic upgrades later, it's not the best but it's playable.

well it doesnt really matter if u have a 128mb or 256mb cause i dont see the change and if u want a cheap card get a Gigabyte 6600GT they are good i might try F.E.A.R with this card and tell u how it goes :D

ive acutually got worse specs than u and i can play higher
on cpu i can put it on max for about 40 fps or meduim for 60+
and on gfx (ati radeon x300 128mb) i can run on the custom mode which is (about med, i tested it out) with a lil lag. idk dude, try to mess around with your settings in f.e.a.r or like everybody else said, go out and buy another gfx card

Im not bothering to read all this. But you need to upgrade, badly.
You should have 1 gig of ram too..
Just do what I did. Save all the money you can. Christmas and birthday cash. And you can always try some side jobs..like cutting the grass, or shoveling snow and such.

    Test your PC here:

and just make everything either off or lowest settings and turn vsync on. Its all in the settings on the game. Its not hard to figure out.

Messing around with settings can help. For example (I'm gonna use UT2004) If I put everything to max. I have like gorgious grahpics, but terrible lag. So I let the detail textures on, I put texture detail on max. Character models on medium and all the rest down to absolute minimum.
Result: I still have the same gorgious graphics and I can play normally, because you hardly notice shadows/coilage/detailed sky etc missing.
