Ok all that /I need someone to do is to help me out on my clan site. NO you dont need to know html or anything like that. I mainly just need a lot of opinions on some things such as how I should do things etc...

If you want to help me out than please post. No I wont just pick the first person ill pick the person I think will do a better job.

Theres a few things I need someones opinions on. One thing is should I really have flash at the beginning of my site or not. If so what should it say etc...

 

u should have a flash and it should be like a loading page with some nice loading bars

 

ok, Another thing is, I dont know how I should do the sign up part of my site. Like this site is for my clan and also to get people to sign up on it so I can get more people on it. I need 2 links for signing up, 1 for if the person wants to join or clan than he can put his info in a form and 2 is to sign up on the site/forum

 

Dont you need a Ftp Acces to have Forums? Atleast i needed to have that so i could upload my forum

he means a regular registration on top of a login that is like a php script to send a registration to join the clan.

Ok our clan recuits players so we need a form for players to sign up at to give us information about them like how long they play the game every day, where they live, etc... but I also want a link for the forums to register but want both under sign up on my site so its easier and what not. What would be a good manner in doing this?

 

modify the register script with a drop down menu selecting whether they are registering as a clan member or a regular member.

if they are registering as a clan member you give them a password prior to signing up and after they submit their regular registration info it asks for the clan password and then it takes them to the screen with the information about how long they have played and such, then you submit that and the info is sent to the site admin.

if they are registering as a normal member they just hit submit and sign in as usual.
