Yup, it's basicly a re-vamped 6200, with all the new card goodies. Not a bad card, but I don't think it's worthy of the 7-series name.
haha well i play BF2 with the setting at 1024*786 or wat ever that one is and all medium with 2XAA and no lag and my card is a Gigabyte 6600GT and i play most games at High or medium with no lag
I can do that fine with my x800 and i only got 1gb. the power of the x800... but yea, that cards nice but definetly not nearly as good as the x800 or 6600
I'm starting to wonder how my 6600GT compares to your GTO, Diablo... I overclocked it a few days ago.
I'm too lazy to overclock..unless i already did..idk if I saved it. What do you use to OC yours? I use ATI Tool. Does that have to be running to be in use or can i close it
I used CoolBits to set the clock speed and tested it with ATi Tool .25 and 3DMark03... got it up to 575/1.06 before it started artifacting (stock is 500/900). Reached a maximum temp of 57 C after 3 minutes in the heat-up sequence in ATi tool. I'm suprised how cool it's running... 6600GTs are notorious for running warm.
i have a 6200 OC and run BF2 on high but no high shadows or lighting and just get a tad bit of lag at the first 5 mins of playing the game
dont know i just sett up that way when i got it when i turn on my shadows and lighting on high thats when i get a ---- load of lag
