If you don't wanna pay do what Girly just mentioned, go on DA, or even......what for it......pixel2life or even good-tutorials, OMG, free tuts there. Seriously though, if people are selling big deal, people are buying it, so they making their e-money. If it was free here, people will whore it, just like smudge and many other styles to come through. One person did it, everyone loved, he made a tut, made it free, and voila! Everyone whores it to death.

    my thoughts of Tuts
they are made to teach/educate you
you shouldn't go read a tutorial on about how to make a sig there are like 1milion of it, like go read something that teaches you something completely different. you will just learn to make wored sigs by reading those tuts.

I gotta say, there are some tuts that aren't really good. But isn't that as in real life? If i buy a Playstation 3 and i expect to have games like Kingdom Hearts 3 on it, but then the serie goes to Xbox, isn't that like the same? It's just a question of having luck with buying the right one. Also, look at the testimonials..

Hmm... Where to start this time.

I read many tutorials because I usually pick up different techniques and use them all trying to find my own style. So no, I don't exactly follow the tutorial word for word. I might the first time to get the hang of it, then i'll go read another one, another, then work on a sig from scratch with all the techniques I picked up.

And no, I'm not going on Good-tutorials or Pixel2Life. What could I learn from there? Look through hundreds of tutorials and find 3 that aren't for beginners.

I'm looking through DA now and have found several tuts that I can most likely learn something from.

This topic might as well be closed, because I feel as if I'm just answering to each and every one of your posts and statements.

I feel you lack imagination, with imagination you could be as anyone here, if not better, without any tuts. But yeah check DA. ;)

Stop moaning then, if your not going to look for tutorials then just stfu. There are lots of good tutorials listed on good-tuturials/pixel2life if there not good for you then why don't you actually try and teach yourself something instead of relying on other people and then complaining when you deem there tutorials not to be good enough.

Stop bitchin' about tuts gettting whored. If you make a tut that means if it is good pepole will start to use it right? If you make a tut and make it paid the only difference is less pepole will buy it and it will be less whored like 'omg amazing tut, 400 creds cos i dont want it to be whored' dont make the tut at all

IMO tuts are for you to learn something not to spend your creds in  : This goes to pepole with few creds if you have the creds what the hell use them ;) I use preety much devianart, i got all of my photoshop-knowlede in there

LOL, it's so amusing how pissed off people get sometimes.

This is exactly why I wanted the topic to be closed.

"Man just stfu! Teach yourself!". What's the purpose of tutorials? To help others out. Not all of us were received some God given gift like yourself.

I'm sure you have learned a few helpful things from tutorials, or maybe you are some God who just picked up Photoshop one day and without seeking knowledge on the subject you all of a sudden mastered it.
