Google 1998

Pretty cool. I never heard of Google until about 2001 also. First seach engine I ever used was HotBot. I used Go.com for a very long time. :lol:

I used altavista for most of the time didnt start using google until pretty late...now I never use altavista

 

back then I was using yahoo didnt know know google existed back then nice find

I remember that website...I found it one day last year and looked up a butt load of websites that are up now...it was kinda cool to see what theylooked like then

Funnily enough, I just looked this up earlier. I used astalavista until about 1997, then I got bored in my old windows 95 computer. Then I got a new computer in 2003 and broadband a few months later. I have been using google since 1997, so that's 9 years now (and I'm only 14)

 

started using google in 2000/2001. I found it not long after I got the net in 2000/2001, but before then i used msn search as I just clicked the search button in internet explorer. google looks so retro and blockish lol
