Quintessence Suspended...

    Hi there, I just got a call from Quintessence..
    I haven't been on this forum for a while, but as a guest I've seen what he's doing, helping the community with free slicing and coding...

    Now Quintessence says he's suspended untill October 2008
    Reason: Advertising..

    He says that BFTP is right, the signature is an advertisement and he sent an email to BTFP with an applogise (however you spell that)

    I don't think he needs to be suspended untill Oct 2008, a warning ok, or just say he needs to remove it.. but suspending untill 2008 is a bit much according to me.
    He also said he just got 4 requests that he can't do now, because he can't read his PM's... :huh:

    I friendly ask BFTP to unsuspend him, Quintessence says that he explained and appologised himself in the Mail.
    Please check it!

    I'm making this topic just that you guys know he's not online, if you want your template still coded, BFTP will have to unsuspend him

    dude thats harsh 2 years, what just adverstising thats nothing well suspend for a week instead of a 2 years. If he does again then ban for 2 years :D

    Yeah this forum is a bit striked, iv got suspened on my GFX2NR acct :(

    maybe let off some slack

    Maybe they could make a bar for all the bad things you done
    and once it goes to the limit you get to be banned for a year or so

    On MSN he said
    They banned him because of adversing in his sig
    but what the hell?

    Bratzer is using sigs so he can adverse his site
    Suffocated Affection is using it

    so why does he get banned!?

    Indeed.. Advertising was the reason.. I don't know in the sig but still.. a PM is easly send..

    Like.... pm a mod or something I guess, don't really need to make a topic and hope for an admin to see it first thing he logs into GR. :huh:

    I've send a PM to a mod, but no other mods are online so :)
    BTW: This is usefull.. if he gets suspended and some guys are waithing for a template...

    Yes he did, but he doesn't deserves 2 years 1/2 right?
    Maybe a week.. or something, a punishment like: no credits or whatever.. but 2 years :|

    FOR 2 YEARS? what he did was not right but that's like imprisoning someone to jail for 20 years for stealing a can of tuna. :P perhaps -rep him 100 times and make him unable to receive -rep and +creds. that's insane punishment m8 let's sign a petition! :lol:

    Wow for advertising 2 years ban ? Na man thats not far i get if hes spamming and wat not but he was helping the site out wit free coding and slicing... come on unban him and probaly give him a warning or something.
