3dmark06 Released

3DMark06 has been released. Was released on the 19th heres the details. I'm going to download and bench my x800gto to see where it stands in relation to 3DMark05 so we can get tell what good scores and bad scores are. Apparently a good score is about 5000-6000 which is what the x1900XTX is scoring.

looks nie, I will have to try it when i get more ram... and I definately will try it when I get a new CPU/motherboard.

you realize you get a higher score if you don't hav any uneccesary programs on right?

 

yeah, i had just opened those back up b4 i printscreened, i had everything all closed out b4 i ran it thoguh

 

I'm not even sure I can run 06... my 6600GT's only got 128 mb of RAM.

Oh well, I don't need it telling me that everything but my graphics card is completely horrible.

That scores fine for a 6600gt.

 

I had a score of 3000 with my old PC, it had a Geforce 6600 GT and a AMD Athlon 1800+

I CBF looking around, where are the screenies lol.

 

I got 7k something in 03... my download keeps stopping when I try to download 05 or 06...

 

7k in 03=2k in 06. all you need to know. I couldn't even run 05 because I didn't have pixel shader 2.0 at the time.

 

anyone else depressed with the first cpu test, i got like 40 frames out of that entire one, i mean, seeing a constant 0FPS in the corner is just kinda....depressing :/

 

ya I saw this the other day on Gamespot..I have 3DMARK05...I dont think there is THAT much of a difference between 05 and 06..
