it might be that your graphics card cannot cope with what you are trying to do

if you bought a cheap PC, this is to be expected. the answer is to buy a new graphics card and possibly more RAM. a new PSU might help as well.

I had a problem like that with a Epox MB and P4 1.8GHz processor. I tryed everything:
RAM, GFX Card, Audio Card...HDD...alll...and the problem was simple.
Something happent with my MB and the processor was not reciving enough voltage when he needed...In the other words, my MB went down and i had to change it :(

Another problem whould be if you didnt plugged in the second power jack to the MB (the newest MSs have a 8 (or 10) pins plug like theold ones PLUS a 4 pins one...maybe you forgot about it...i know i did :D)

    Regards...

    Here is why:
    1. Its 3 years old
    2. You cannot recognise the problem
    3. ITS AN EMACHINES

ok that has to be the two most stupid things ive ever heard, im laughing harder than i laugh after i hit a blunt a few times. ok, dells suck.... dells suck more than anything that has ever sucked before. emachines are not only rated number one in pc world but have the best opverall customer satisfaction too. i have 6 emachines runni9ng throughout my family and friends because of me telling them to get one and they all have never broke once, nor needed any parts other than a new gfx card, or more ram on the cheaper versions. its ur gfx card, if it isnt ill give you all of my credits...

Ok, maybe you need a reality check

Dell- It is not the crappiest of the house. The XPS ones are very good. Their driver support is great. I could get drivers for a discontinued Dell, and they still have the driver.

EMachine- 3 years ago they started their E-Tower series. Those suked rocks... I refurb them at my job, and my friend has one. I could not find any drivers for any of the onboard stuff. I looked on their site, no drivers, so I had to search all around the net... The newer EMachines are excellent.

Like every company, they start out bad before they can get excellent.

yes, an updated EMachine, or maybe a Dell, or make it custom.

Anything is better than your model.
