I have that card too cuz my stupid Dell only has a PCI slot and newegg reviews say it's the best PCI can give I used to play City of Heroes on a Radeon 9200 LE (I think) and I upgraded it to that card but it does nothing for me it looks the same and the lag didn't stop... could've been the server but I doubt it cuz it was better on low settings, hopefully you'll have better luck with it.
Save your money for a little while longer ... and upgrade your mobo. PCI is very outdated since AGP and PCI-E are much faster. If you can go a little while longer without upgrading ... you'll get a better deal. But don't listen to me ... cause I played $320 for my ASUS x850 XT Platinum Edition.
well my pc take pci only and i dont really want a nother computer so i am askin is there aa better pci one
try to search for a 6600, 6600 LE, or x700 Pro ... cause I believe that they make those in PCI format ... if you can find them ... they would give u the best performance.
CPUZ and one of the tabs. I can't remember the name but it should say wether you have AGP or PCI-E or something
you should listen, people suggested that you save for a new motherboard os you don't have such a constraint. you can find them as cheap as 30$ and 60$ for a good one, it isn't buying a whole new PC either, far from.
i heard befor that my computer case is not compatable with another borad. wut type of bored would u suggest. i have a socket 478 pentium 4 2.8ghz processer. so wut has pci-e or agp that would be copadable wit my case
they probably meant standard ATX, micro ATX should fit fine. they don't make 478 motherboards with PCI-e slots, letting you know(or atleast they aren't available on newegg) they do have ones with AGP slots... more or less go for whichever one offers the biggest bang for the $, be warned though ECS is crap http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....ATTR18=&ATTR19=
