Sliceing

j.w what does slicing mean? i think its were u slice something say the reply button and u slice around it and put the code so it adds a reply when you click it buy im not to sure

 

Slicing is what you do in Photoshop to help code a template. You slice the template (can take numerous tries till u get a good outcome), File > Save as for the web and then open up dreamweaver or something and open the index.html file u get.

Slicing isnt the only way to code templates though, some people dont like doing it that way.

u can use any text editor, but a program like dreamweaver just makes it much much easier

 

yer.i might just make templates,learn how to slice them and sell so the buyer has to code it how they wont it to
