Well I am looking for someone educated to help me out...
I just had the oppurtunity to pick the classes that I want for 10th grade. One of the classes I decided to take was Graphics Designs. I had to take a years worth of Studio in Art to get into this class. When the teacher was telling us about this class he mentioned Adobe Photoshop that really caught my ear. Which is also mentioned is a Macintosh lab. I'm thinking this class get any better. What I do for fun on my free time in class for a high school credit. What I want to know is if anyone knows about this. I live in New York so someone in this area would probobly know about it. Thanks

    Carter

I lived in NYC for my first two years of high school, and I remember there was a graphic design class. I didn't know anyone in it, so I couldn't tell you what it's about.

I would take classes like that but I just got into and taught myself. So now I been designing for like 4 or 5 years and Im preety good at it to. But yea no point of going to classes and paying for it when you can learn it by ur self. Just go to ("I am not allowed to post the link cause it would be advertisement PM me if you want the site") thats my number 1 source on teaching me something that I dont know. Dont pay for classes but take it in school so u can get a easy A :)

Well, in my computer arts class, we used to use Adobe Photoshop elements (yea, I know) but for some reason the curriculum had it switched to Corel Draw 9.

That's why I dropped the course immediately.

I didn't take graphic designs classes until I reached college. My high school didn't have any Photoshop classes or any I can remember. But it was a great experience learning the basics on Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and more in college (for me).

being a graphic designer is tough, not that its not hard to get in one its just that there is too much competition and it is hard for you to find jobs, when i learn that i didn't want to be graphic deisgner, instead i take computer engineering
    arrrr..

Graphic design isnt tough, you just have to be the best.

I wish you luck with your classes.
