what is a domain... i know it is u web name like gamerenders.com or the url of a website but how are u sent to them is there one main list or somting... i had a argument with one of my friends and he says that the internet revolves around one computer an i tell him that it revolves around millions of servers please help me thx

Internet travels overseas with something called optic fibers I believe , they are all set in the bottom of the earth and under seas anyway you are a part of the internet , the Internet is billions of computer connected together, simple as that.

Right........ uhh every website has an IP address like your PC so you type the address you go to the website , but your not gonna type IP numbers thats why there are domains/subdomains...etc.

Its the servers .... The Domain is attached with the IP so if you type the domain like Gamerenders.com they will redirect you to 241.456.564.45 or w/e. Its a mechanism, you dont ask how a calculator calculates lol oh well guess you found it after all
