    Hello,

The purpose of this thread is to help define which MMO is best for me. I'd like your opinions, your MMO knowledge and expertise in aiding my decision to choose the best MMO for me currently. Here is a list of MMORPGs that I have participated in:
    MMO List
    Anarchy Online
    EVE Online
    Runescape
    Ryzom
    Star Wars Galaxies
    World of Warcraft
I've created a data sheet to inform you of my interests. Please use this information to help you.
Do you roleplay? Yes [x] No [ ]
Do you enjoy full immersion? Yes [x] No [ ]
Do you prefer "power gaming"? Yes [ ] No [x]
Would you play a "power gaming" only MMO? Yes [ ] No [x]

I like MMOs like EVE Online that have the wide variation of content and interaction. I do not like Star Wars Galaxies because of their lack of roleplay and immersion. I do like their content and quest systems. I like to roleplay! So, I need a MMO community that has a ratio of 2:3 gamers that are immersed in roleplay during gameplay. I'd like to play an MMO that is limitless, has a good developer team, has a great community, no power gamers, and well rounded content. Any ideas?

the mmo market has become so rediculous imo everyone is throwing their hat in and its really dumbing down the market. I remember when it was UO vs EQ those were the days then this flood came of half assed clones. Sorry for that rant lol on a lighter note I think an RP server like antonia Bayle on EQ2 would be ideal for you.

Personally the best MMO's I have played are:

    FFXI (Final Fantasy 11)
    L2 (Lineage 2)

    Runescape is disgusting.

SWG was good. WOW I didn't like. Only reason being I dislike the "Cartoony" scheme of it.

My fav MMORPG is probably Ragnarok Online. Its a 2D game, its been around for almost 5 years. You can make a lot of friends, the community is great and since lots of females play, you can meet lots of girls ;)

    I would have to say World or Warcraft. Its an easy game to get used to but very challenging. First 20 lvls are boring but from then on its rather fun. It is widely played. Only a few downsides;

    (1) Having to pay $15 a month.
    (2) Server lag (depending on how popular the server is)
    (3) Instances, they take forever to do and i very time consuming although you don't have to do them.

    Thats my opinion.
