Ive been at this site for nearly a year now, but i sold my old account so i had to make a new one, so it wouldnt work out that all people that have been here along time, i kno im not the only person who would be in the same situation, i honestly dont think this is a good idea cause newer members could get jealous

I say know for the fact, we have a general discussion forum, a premium disscusion board, (that makes 2 general forums) and then we would have a 3rd one. Seems like there would be to many.

    You're a liberal I take it.

OMG LYKE U R REECH U DUNT DESARVE IT.

Who cares if the newer people are jealous? That's life.. things go that way sometimes, but like I said: It's not about being elite, it's about being an older member.

Also, you shouldn't of sold your account, that's your own repercussions.

I think it's a useless idea becuase there are still going to be "1337" people that have been here for a long time that would enter the "more serious" forum and mess up the discussion. The best compromise I have seen (on one of my favorite forums) was a "politics and religion" section where people could discuss real every day news, etc and have a constructive argument about it. In my opinion that would be the best way round things. As BFTP said, premium forums are definatly closer to what this thread is about, so if you want that kind of stuff you'll have to buy a premium membership :)

EDIT - and the person above me, could you PLEASE take some of those sigs out

mhm..maybe a forum that is for members who have been here for one year, and have no warnings in the past.

Eh, I wont even say nothing, because I've been here for less then a year and if I say I disagree, then they will think its just because of my join date.

The no warning thing is a bad idea. What if like when you first got here and you were an ass and got warned but now your fine? Lol I'm just saying that because that's what happened to me and I've been here for a looong time and if the thing was made I want to be able to get in it!

Well I dont know.. cause alot of people sold there older accounts like I had my original account which the member# was in the 2000 so I dunno.. I think it wouldn't be a good idea cause it would just be not active and pointless.

As much as I'd like to say I'm for it, I'm not.

Just being here a long time isn't a valid reason to 'deserve' a more exclusive forum. Saying someone's argument isn't valid because of their join date is pretty low too. I've been here for over a year. Are you gonna go after my amount of posts then?

It's a dumb idea, there's already a General Discussion, and then Premium Discussion as already stated.

The few arguments that are in favor of this are already biased. They're from people who would profit from this. Well, not really profit, because it is quite pointless.

And I'm rambling. So I'll just say this:

This shouldn't be done. It's not necessary. Being an older member isn't anything earned, it's just something that you got by being lucky and finding this place before other people. That doesn't deserve more than the person who finds the site today.
