    There was no skin_arcade_4 file given. There is the skin file given (skin_Arcade) is in the folder chacheid_4

    If oyuve uploaded everything, double check that you have everything there and thats its all in the right spot, that might be a problem.

    Also, maybe the mod your running doesnt like work with your version of IPB maybe, just a guess.

    make sure that skin file goes in every cacheid_ file ;)

    IPB v2.0.4

    Whenever any tried to upload an avatar they get this error:

    Code:
    The error returned was:

The upload failed. Please contact a member of staff to help rectify the problem
    I have Chmod-ded the uploads folder to 777.
    The groups are allowed to upload avatars.
    What now?

    Maybe just maybe you somehow chmodded the file its trying to replace to something to low to have the new avatar overwrite the old one.

    Just a guess

    alright, just did my first forum install for my bro, everything went smoothly until i tried to install a skin, when i did that, the images xml file went right it, but when i uploaded the template, it got stuck at some recaching step, i have a screen of it at home, but im not there right now, so ill post it when i get back. But basically i cant get the skin file to upload and recache all the php/html files, sooo i was wondering if i should just reinstall bc it might be a bad upload, or if there was a problem with something else.

    btw, whenever i tried to run the skin rechaching tool in the acp, i got the same error :/
