Windowed Mode?

does any1 kno how to get a game or program to work in windowed mode if it doesn't have the option to? thnx in advanced

sorri i didnt get that.... but it is a full screen game and theres no option to tmake it windowed. i want it windowed. how can i make it happen?

 

you cant, the program must have a setting to do that.

 

What do you mean by windowed mode ?

 

yup, if there is no setting for it, then I don't believe it can be done.

windowed mode is like the game would be where your browser is now, you can still see taskbar and you will have the minimize, maximize and close buttons on the top of the game window. Some games like guild wars let you play like that. It's really handy for if you have messengers open, no need to alt tab out of games.

Right click the shortcut and you should get something like target.

you wanna put a -w by the target so it works like that.

i created a ss for you see how under Diablo 2 the target is w/e then it has -w at the end meaning Run in Window Mode. That Should work hopefully.

Depends on the program. Usually you add -w at the end.
Like in diablo2 for example.

 

Alt enter always works for me

 

add it to the end of the shortcut, IE "C:\\program files\game.exe" -w
