Yeah, i think that 2 that the template will be better for a hosting template or portfolio but not for a hl2 template little to simple ...
I dont like the banner at all. I dont like the little techy banner borders because they dont seem to fit. Not feelin the orange either. Comin from me thats bad cuz its my fav color. Also, it as idaho said, HL2 doesnt really fit the feeling of this one. Maybe it could be a simple portfolio but doesnt fit the feel of HL. Maybe take out the freeman render and put in a nice graphics render and maybe even a nice, faded gradient overlay.
I have two of those on there already(gradient overlays). Ok ill try to make it a little bit more 'portfolioish' Thx for ur comments!
I would say make the colors a little darker and that ad to me just makes the template look worse. But other than that it looks pretty good, keep up the great progress.
