World Would Be Better If Guns Were Not Sold.

no your not getting it. if there are guns they will be sold behind the gov's back. thats called the black market. you know its kinda funny that you said the world would be a better place without guns but you have a gun in your sig :lol:

 

It's not all guns that make the world bad. There's a hell of a lot more reasons.

 

If no guns are sold in america what would happen when other countries attack us. We have no defense against them and america woudn't be as powerful as it is now.

And I don't think removal of all guns would solve anything, people would still kill other people one way or another if they really wanted to.

 

When it comes to Wars and country defense Guns mean nothing. That all comes down to Nuclear Weaponry.

World without guns would suck >.<

if there are no guns , robbers and smugglers can use knives and other objects as weapons , they might be really good with these weapons so when they enter your house trying to kill you and rob your house u hold a knife and u just dont know how to handle it and ur so scared that u are frozen and cant move , but with a gun you dont even have to shoot , just point it at the guy's face and he'll walk out and never come back , this isnt the medieval century where everyone keeps fighting with swords and knives and bows / etc.... guns have alot of negatives , but the postives cover the negatives , but thin again even the army uses guns in the wrong way,in that case the negatives cover the positives , so u see it wont really solve the murder problem..because we actually NEED guns

Not true at all, violence can't be stopped. There are many factors that causes violence such as poverty, discrimination, etc...Gun is something used for protection and/or for hunting.

 

Lets all face it,

You can't stop the spread of technology. Saying we shoudl stop selling guns is like telling the world hey, stop selling cigaretts because I'm tired of seeing people die so soon." The most anti-arms poltician couldn't get the support to ban gun sells, and there is that little thing called the Constiution that gets in the way.

The idea is great and all, wanting everyone to be safe and happy, but live in reality; this is just not possible.

 

If guns would be banned, people would just find some alternative way to kill others.
If guns would stop being sold, people would just steal them, there's always a way to steal them and always someone who can.
If guns will all be gathered and buried somewhere secret (as a last method) people would make their own.

 

Nope, If guns weren't sold, ppl would make their own, sorry but this is as dumb as we wasn't allowed to sell kitchen knifes

 

I agre the world would be a better place if guns were not sold. they should be distributed for free.
