World Would Be Better If Guns Were Not Sold.

I love guns

you need guns to protect yourself as rape, etc.

they are cool

and you need guns our nation wouldnt be as good as it is without guns , as teh wars and stuff like that

 

Guns don't kill people, people do.

If there aren't any guns, a person who wants to kill someone will end up doing it in a much more painful and slower way.

The way I see it, the only way to reduce the number of death's is if humans magically reverted back to being uneducated, playful children. Knowledge and passed down stories of war and hatred is the seed of the violence.

Maybe guns do make a difference but not all soldiers and cops are good hearted, law abiding people.

 

No the world would not be better because bad people can still get guns. Guns are not sold to people with criminal records, and background checks are run before a gun can be sold. Without guns people at home would be defenseless. Having a self-defense weapon is very valuable because it keeps people from breaking in to your house and killing you, because they know you could have a gun too. Stopping selling guns will not stop killing, guns will be bought elsewhere just like drugs or anything else that is/was illegal. Take alcohol for example. When they tried to get rid of alcohol in the US it didn't work and people still got it, the same thing will happen with guns and the common people will be incapable of self-defense.

where i live in england guns arent really a factor here its not very common you see them cos its NOT legal here
but like flip said
you might not hear bout shootings here but you certainly hear about stabbings
either way its a viscious circle any which way you look at it

 

though this unrealistic topic has some points of truth, its like saying the world would be better without the coco plant. The world would be better without drugs in general. My 2 cents on this subject is this: People who purchase guns are more likley to use them in the appropriate manner. As the people who have guns illegally are out to use them inppropiatley. Case in point: if by some mirracle this was to happen where guns would not be sold. The mafioso wouldnt sit back and follow the rules.

okay.. now that ive got that out. Look, dont be an idiot.. if guns were banned, then ONLY criminals would have them.. the rest of the population would have to resort to BBguns and swords... against a .30 rifle? dont think so. Lets try to be realistic here.

 

Guns are good. I could shoot half my old school that would be good no, I'm playing.But not hell what would the cops do with out guns and crazy nuts at hand.

in countries like bolivia, there is a huge coco plant economy, not for drugs, they use it to bake muffins and other items, such as hemp can be made into rope stronger than most current ropes.

anyways you cant ban a plant, that is THE stupidest thing i have heard, out of you, and out of the government, even if they tried, they would not find all the seeds and a new plant with more seeds will bud

 

And your very right its impossible for cops and soldiers to only have guns since not everyone in this world follows the rules put infront of them....thats why we call them terrorists becuase they break the rules and then come after use with deadly weapons.

 

w/o Guns The world might be different... but people would be finding alternatives to guns. Violence is always going to exist in society. As much as we would all like to think that the Miss America contestants wishes of world peace could be possible, its not. There is going to be violence. If you have no guns they use, sticks/rocks/whatever else is available.

Not in birmingham, theres still gun crime. Guns are still used alot of times in england, but there obtain illegaly so theres not much people can do. America's a different story.

 

Even if we didnt have guns , but we had knives there would still be the same amount of murder and such and you can make sharp knife type of thing so it dpesnt really matter if we have guns or not!!!!

 

ok what if we outlaw guns, then what will we do against the people who smuggle them in?
