its not like its changing ur self...i mean chickens are being thrown right now and being stomped on and are having there heads chopped of...is it affecting you in any way atm...I THOUGHT NOT..so juz stop complaining and eat the tasty chicken
Man, it's not like Chickens are gods. They can get their head cut off or somthing, you don't need to stick them in boiling water live. That's just not right!
I this its funny how people can make judgements after hearing one persons biased opinion on how things are done.
I don't see the point in trying to stop this there are far too many slaughter houses to control. Plus, how would you control it, put some guy in there and watch the chickens? and of course the workers there are poorly trained, what level of training does one expect at a slaughter house. Some of you may disagree but I think it's a hopeless cause to stop it. Chickens are born everyday and killed everyday. Unlike humans, they probably quadruple our population. It's too late to do anything. This doesn't mean that I don't think it's wrong for the workers to relieve stress by slamming and stomping chickens, but as far as the process of the industry goes, some chickens will be conscious during all this. I personally don't expect 100% efficiency in checking that every last chicken is knocked out. Afterall, the conveyor belt or whatever that is, is moving too fast and there are far too many chickens it would cost too much and slow down production.
