Note that the band name is Lynard Skynard, and they have a few other songs that are good, but this one is just awsome. Cant beat the classics man.

The band and their songs are legendary, they define what southern rock is all about.

Lynard Skynard died so long ago.
Crappy one hit wonders may stay with hicks.
    But not the 'why?' generation.

You are so wrong, Lynyrd Skynyrd didn't die it was the lead singer Ronnie Van Zant that got killed long ago, but the band is still playing. You don't have to be a "hick" to appreciate their music! I wouldn't call their songs "one hit wonders" because they are not even close to being one hit wonder. Lynyrd Skynyrd's musical influence can be seen in many of today's bands. Matter of fact, one of Lynyrd Skynyrd's song "Simple Man" was just redone by Shinedown.
