hoho, at the rate that kaz is rendering at i don't think many people have a chance at winning the renderer of the year. If i manage to win all my rounds i'll face off with him soon...but i still need more practice.

GODDAMMIT why do i notice what others don't..

I mean. thats a hawt render but there's always minor things that seem... "off"

in this one, the outline of the hand in the glow is black.. but the arm isn't

and the other hand is kinda choppy by the bottom of the palm...

and the hairs have white outlines

sometimes i feel as if my computer is messed up or my eyes playing tricks on me.. but seriously its great, its premium, its hawt, but there's always minor things

EDIT: I'm so stupid!.. lol.. ok, pretty much the hair has that weird white glow, and the hands and arm has a black outline.. i shoulda looked at original before judging.. however.. i think her right palm coulda been done better... and sometimes there are some things in the original the renderer has to alter just so it looks better

 

Sweet cut dude, you've done the glow nicely, and yeah, this year's roty will be some stiff competition.

 

shadow strike is right, but if that's the render you're using against me you'll probably win. I started writing a book so I'm gonna quit rendering after this and haven't really been working at it. School + book + rendering = OVERFLOW ERROR (30+ hrs a day).

Nice job on it, minus some of the small flaws. The glow looks rad ^_^

 

thanks for the criticism, that's exactly what i needed.

The hand? Well, its a tad dodgy cos the original one isn't curved , so i had to improvise. This render will go under alot of refinement if i am to beat anyone big.
