how does vista stop the illegal programs newaz?

 

DRM=Digital Rights Management.
All hardware and software from now on will have digital signatures, illegal software wont have these signatures so windows wont let you install or crack, etc.

windows xp will be so much better once vista is out because you will see how good it is compared to the latest tech lol. Anyways SP3 will make it a whole lot more secure and stable.

 

What if you get a crack from a friend..?

 

So if you created a program and you wanated to distribute it to vista users would you have to buy one of these licenses?

 

@ krew: Then i guess theoretically it wouldnt work, but I'm betting that things that fake the signatures will be out sooner or later.

Its virtually impossible to stop piracy.

 

I think I'll stick to XP. It's good enough for me.

Don't really see the point paying so much money for something, when all I do is play games.
