Not too bad but I can't say the yellow goes with the grey, I think it might go more with the grey if you added another colour aswell like red or something.

Too plain and grey. Yellow doesn't go well with it.

Its a bunch of rectangles with a 1px bevel. You need to look at some of those inspiration sites that are listed in chronics we resource thread. It looks very noobish, almost worse than skandalouz' template tutorial.

Hey Rimfire youve got a serious attitude problem. Either that, or you just hate me. It is Not a bunch of rectangles with a 1px bevel, ive been working on this for hours, its not ment to look advanced, but i guess your too much of an idiot to like something else than that. I guess i could say some really bad things about ur templates, but im not that much of a bad person. go fück yourself.

Vici: I didnt use any blending options for this tutorial, i painted on those 'bevels'. Personaly i think it looks better if they are on but i guess i could post a version where id remove them.

And thanx everybody for your comments, i appriciate it.

The colours are horible, both the yellow and that particular shade of grey. Firstly you need alot more shades of grays and some gradients to make it less flat. Next thing is to try and use two colours, I would completley take out the yellow and start again with that part.

Spice up those content boxes and make them more proffesional. Don't get pissy with Rimfire and just take his advice, I really advise that you go and get some inspiration like Rimfire said.

Artorius, I am just speaking based on my opinion. If you want, you can go get some more people to comment on it that know a thing or two about templates. Also did you not notice how I gave you advice on getting some inspiration? Take that into consideration and come back to post something that looks like more thought and effort was put into it. You just need to learn how to take some harsh critisism. If you cannot handle it, you will not improve.

There are better ways of being honest. And i can take any critisism in a good way, thank you. But when people like you comment in such an annoying way i get pissed. Like you said 'oh you dont know how madly i want this thread to die' in that other thread of mine. show some manner.

I will not change the way I comment/critisize. You asked for "some constructive comments on how to make it better" and I did by suggesting you you get some inspiration from the sistes listed in chronics resource thread. I in no way tried to sound like an asshole, I was just trying to answer what you asked in your original post.

Ok well first of all: i thank you for your comment.

Here's your post, the parts that you could simply remove to sound nicer and save yourself some time is bold.

"Its a bunch of rectangles with a 1px bevel. You need to look at some of those inspiration sites that are listed in chronics we resource thread. It looks very noobish, almost worse than skandalouz' template tutorial"

I know you're on the internet and that i probably cant reach you irl - nor do i want to - but you should still not say stuff that would result in u getting hit by someone IRL.

Its kinda funny, imagine yourself showing up your work to someone irl, and that guy would simply say "Hey that looks so noobish! Its just some rectangles man! Its almost worse than that ----ty thing i saw some time ago."

If someone would resort to punching me because I voiced my opinion then I would let them, but they better be ready for a fistful of knuckles as well.
