Well it pretty much comes down to a question of religion. Not organized religion, but a belief in something more to life that we can readlly define. Personally, I find it unlikely that a random explosion could have created a universe that has clearly defined rules that govern everything that occurs. For me that implies a greater power in existence. Now if one believes that there is some greater power, there is the question of wether or not that power is benevolent. This one is up in the air for me. What is boils down to is that if it is benevolent, there should be some sort of afterlife, whether it be heaven/hell, some type of reincarnation, or something else entirely. If not, well then everything ends at death. In the end, this is not a question to get hung up on. Live a good, productive life, and you will secure a place in the afterlife if there is one. If not, then at least people will remember you as a good and productive person. Never expected to encounter philosophy on these boards
For some reason, I alwasys have the same problem as you, and I'm catholic and beleive and jesus.. Yada yada.. And I always think, out of all the people that could be born why was " I " born.. It's weird.. Scary too..
no,no,no, you guys have got it wrong. when we die, we stay here, but you cannot see living people. you live life for eternity with other dead people, but they dont look dead. they appear i their happiest form.
You can lay cake mix outside, and it rains overnight, and the next morning, you won't have a cake. You need someone to mix it. GOD IS TEH MIXX0RRRZzzz
I think after dying, nothing happen... But if it have a Paradise on earth, or a heaven, after dying, your supposed to wake up instantly(sp?) cause when you are dead, nothing happen...so...no time to wait! I think that's logic.
