Changing Psd Into Gif?

How do i change an image from a psd (imageready - its an animation) into a gif that i can use a sig?

i tried searching for it on the forums...and it kept saying there was an error?

You go the arrow thing as how you want to save the pic...click that and some where it should say .gif

 

make sure you save as optimized

 

when your in imageready and you have finished your animated sig, go File>Save Optimized As and it should save as a .gif file
