    I had FireFox for a while and notice that it doesnt play GIFs. Like It will be just a still image? I don't understand.

    in the settings, i think there is a setting for viewing animated gifs.

    also you might want to try Opera.

    Idk bout that..

    check ZoneAlarm if you want it. If you find a setting with 'BLock animations' under pop-ups, uncheck that.

    you must look in options cuz Firefox can display animated gifs ;)

    i also think it's in the settings
    look at it.
    and don't dare to start with opera and leave the firefox community ! :lol:

    I have Firefox too; it plays gif, but it plays it faster then IE does (you can notice that in video sigs)

    why? I use both.... it's all up to pereference...

    What is so special about firefox? i am on a mac and I use Safari. is there anything that makes firefox stand out above others?

    Well, for MAC users, Safari is fine.

    Firefox is more for Windows users. It's 1 million times better than MS's Internet Explorer. IE has many security holes and exploits. Also, IE does not fully support PNG pictures, or XML. We say Firefox is better, because, compared to IE, it is...

    I love my firefox. and I can play .gifs fine. So i don't know whats up with that mate. sorry.
