Just wondering...since I've never seen this thread before. As for me, well...

    Opteron 170 - Stock 2GHz, currently running at 2.8GHz
    ATI X1800XT - Stock 625/775, currently running at 700/800

Only [slight] problem is that you void the warranty. But who cares? I have the effective power of dual FX-57's, as well as a card faster than the 512MB 7800GTX.

To access your BIOS, you must first turn them on. If you don't know how to do that, then don't bother trying to overclock. Once you turn your BIOS on, hit delete (in my case, maybe different for you, check when you turn your BIOS on) when you are starting up your computer, then you will hit your BIOS. From there, .Defusion is the best one to ask about overclocking, so PM him...

Edit: If your Chips/Machine get too hot, then yes, they could fry, so if you are overclocking, I suggest a water cooling system...

your celeron won't be very powerful though. those things have effectively no L2 cache which is highly essential for netburst processors such as the celeron Ds. same for your card, you won't make it godly or anything. if you OC your celeron to about 4GHZ expect performance similar to a 3.2GHZ P4 and heat, well, far worse(plus you can't raise the voltage past 1.7V on Northwood or it dies so don't expect 4.0GHZ)

as for me, a slight OC is all I will ever need. You can't afford to replace it(like me) don't OC
