Um first find out wat ur neighbor has...it may not be campatible...I would buy a card from the same company that their router is from...that way ya are safe cause sometimes companys like to be a bitch and make it so there stuff is only works with there stuff...*cough Sony cough*...and Y a i would use a USB cause it is simple...and some laptops dont have that place...really it depends on the equipemtn ya got runnin...and if the laptop is new it may have a card built into it...so check the specs before ya go buy a $70 card...
my pc is new but it is REALLy basic so it doesnt have a pci slot. No that ios u who needs to configure to his router...I would ask him if he has it locked cause then ya will need the password and stuff...and ya will need to make it ur main network so ya wont need to sign in every time..

Ask him for the IP adress or netowrk name Step 3. Wait until package comes Step 4. Install as directions say Step 5. Load up program Step 6. If it is like mine you will get a wireless thing in the tool palet. If not load up the program and look for networks off of it Step 7. Select network name that is his Step 8. Log onto it smply by clicking it I imagine Step 9. Let it load and ya are golden Step 10, Dont go on anything naughty cause it will show up as he did it and if the English version of the FBI come a knockin he is in trouble...
