I'm not really waiting for it like its the end of my days, just another game I'm looking forward to. I got bored of the FF series after FF-X, FF-X2 basically just made me want to slap myself for even buying it.
I actually loved the turnbased system. With this new battlesystem I'll probably reach the final battle without any decently trained characters. That was allready the problem in FFX-2. But now it will just be like leveling in a mmorpg. Always on and on to get your level up.
I'm looking forward to it. The battle system seems interesting and i saw a screen shot which looked like you'll have to control like three characters in different areas of the world at seperate times which look veeeeeeery interesting.
ya cant wait for this..gonna buy Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King and get the FFXII demo

i tried the demo and it was ok. there new battle systems is confusing but im getting use to it. its almost like kingdom of hearts battle system except you cant jump. you can also see the enimies on the minimaps
It's PS2 only. And it looked DAMN good. I've seen a preview on GamePower (Some televisionprogram, here in belgium) ---> *drools* The new battle system, I think it'll be kinda refreshing. Besides, it's won't be that much different if you don't want it to. You can set it to turn based, so that enemies/other characters have to wait untill you did your attack. You can also set it to real time, so it'll pack some more heat. So you can choose it yourself. You'll allways see the monsters on screen, but I think it'll be a nice chance. I'm excited about it, without a doubt
I should really have read the review >< The fact you can put it on turn based is great. Now I'm dying with anticipation again.
Final Fantasy Rocks on everything or any console I tried it.. Hope this one puts me into the groove too..
