Yup the best part is reading about the history of it. That's what got me so attached cause the stuff he wrote about was so appealing to learn.

NOTE: SPOILERS BELOW!! DONT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE DA VINCI CODE!!

Put it this way: with his death, the currator understood that as a member of the Priory of Sion was to not only guard the secret, but rightfully shine light on the holy grail. As Professor Langdon's crippled friend explains, the holy grail never existed as an actual relic, but the only thing left of Jesus: His bloodline.

Leading them to the church and the home by it, Robert learns the first thing of importance, and that's the overall concept of the spear/chalice - male/female concept, summing up the author's views on Chuch's sexist views - or so he claims. Then to the home, the old woman - who's actually the curator's wife - explains that her parents passed onto her the actual Holy Grail, making her the most recent addition in the family line of Jesus Christ as well as Mary Magdelene.

EDIT: I recently saw a Discovery Channel program called "Cracking the Da Vinci Code" and it actually killed A LOT of what Dan used in his book. Like the 'lady' in the Last Supper painting? A young, feminine-looking male who was a saint. The Knights Templar hiding the real grail? Doubt it, they NEVER went on the Crusades. The Rose line leading to the old center of the world? Not true.

The Da Vinci code kind of scared me. it was like whoa. with all these stories...

    are they true?!

and I wonder if a priest read this. or someone who has been a very devoted christan her/his entire life. wonder how they react.

    Who is this book for?
    How many pages is this?
I am in Grade level do you need to be to clearly understand the book? I'm in Grade 12.

Me, I like to bash Christanity, I really think Christanity is ridiculous religion. So, will this book help me bash Christanity?

NOT TO OFFEND ANYONE BY THE WAY! CHRISTANITY JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME!
