it's all pointless. as soon as someone releases a good tut with a nice outcome, a good portion of these people will just as soon buy it as they joined this "club"
Actually stott, I agree with you there.. Considering we just recently had an auction, where one supporter of "free tuts" was auctioning a tutorial for creds, and the other supporter of "free tuts" was bidding on it. But again you gotta realize, there are people that are really against free tuts. And it isnt hard to tell who they are. Btw, if people were smart, they would search DeviantART for tutorials. They only have like 500 pages of premium tutorials, written by Professionals, instead of a bored teen. But then again, its the credits issue. If you want credits, that you will most likely sell for money, why not make $$ by selling tutorials on other sites? There are many..Oh, but they have to be good. ..And THAT, is where the whole issue comes the whole 360ยบ of why people shouldent sell tuts here; besides a few exceptions that are obvious. Sorry, I feel ranty, so I felt like saying alot.
most free tuts are generally crap and are just the same stuff over and over again with a few things changed, gotta have some way to keep stuff from getting whored, and thats where paying for tuts comes in handy plus paying for tuts usually guarentees you a better quality tutorial.
