    Okay here's my System Specs

    Processor Intel Pentium 4 1625MHz
    Display Card NVIDIA TNT2 m64
    Memory 512MB
    Operating System Microsoft Windows XP
    Free Disk Space 45.31GB
    Display Card Memory 32MB
    Display Driver Version 1.6.3.0
    DirectX Version 9.0c
    Optical Drive CD/DVD
    Sound Card SoundMAX Digital Audio

My computer is 4++ years old I need to update some stuff.

I know I need a new graphics card and maybe a new motherboard if it can't handle a more recent card.

So can someone help me upgrade my computer? I'm not sure how much I want to spend right now but it'd be nice if someone could find some update links for my drivers/cards. It'd be awefully nice :))

It's a Sony Vaio just to tell ya :P

If you just want a new graphics card.
Chuck a 9800Pro into it and you'll be sweet, anything higher will be bottlenecked, maybe also chuck in another 512mb stick of ram. But if you want a whole pc performance boost look at something like this -

    AMD 64 3200+
    ASRock Dual-Sata2
    x800GT
everything else can till be transfered over except for the case and psu. As the case is probably custom to only fit that mobo and the psu will be too old. In which case look for a generic case and an Antec Smart Power II 500W PSU.

search www.newegg.com for mushkin ram and look for something in your price range, make sure itll work on your motherboard first, you can also search a x800 xt when your there to and that runs anywhere from 125-175.

I'll probably buy the RAM first cause then I can always take em out and put em onto my new computer when I get one. The new computers right now, do they even have good graphic cards? I hate these stupid PCs with horrible graphic cards, makes it more reliable to just make your own but the parts are so costly.
