haha i was wrong about fathom, those people seem are the real arrogant jerks. philas applied and he said he will think about it :blink: there were a couple of really good people too compared to their banner and their sigs and avy's :lol: what happened to the ones that got accepted? do they delete them

 

They aren't arrogant, they are just better than you. Silly kids with their Lucky Charms n what not....

That site is not for "pros". Its just for people that are above average sig makers. And just want to show off they got in.

Pros sell there art, and work. More than half just know how to make good c4d renders and slap some text on that. Not many times you will be asked for a job.

"guys i need a like a really cool sig n stuff so make a c4d render 4 me pllzzzzz heres $2 omg"

 

As it was previously said... people, do NOT talk about things you don't know, it just makes you look ignorant.

flop, many Fathom members DO sell their work, myself included. One has made thousands on one template alone for Nike. F*cking NIKE. Another with hundreds of dollars for a measly business card design. I could go on.

And btw. No one at Fathom throws the word "pro" around because it's just a stupid little term created by NSL or some other site to make them think they're good just because they can slap game characters and grunge brushes together. No one claimed to be pro, it's just one of the many ignorant assumptions people have about Fathom, and they are bitter because they can't get in.

 

Ok how much of a % off that site can make a living off grapics.....

Look up and read my edited post. We don't claim we are "pro", although a few do make a living off of their work.

 

Myself included, I make money of my art and Im in fathom. and fathomees are not arrogant jerks, you just think they are.



But in all fairness around 40% of fathomees get paid for what they do.
