Internet Explorer Closes Itself

    whenever i minimise or switch to something else my internet explorer closes itself... how can i fix this?

    switch to firefox. Its a better browser.

    But i dont want firefox... I have all my favourites and such on internet explorer...

    theres an option when u start up firefox to transfer all that stuff from IE to firefox

    as soon as you launch firefox for the first time it imports IE favourites.

    here is how you fix every problem related to IE...

    reinstall windows to remove any viruses accumulated. Remove IE from being the defualt browser, use Fx or Opera in it's steed. After that open regedit and delete most values pertaining to IE or edit them so it is null, then delete every IE file you can w/o affecting windows performance.

    Congratulations, IE is now fixed

    deleting IE would be a bad move as you lose the ability to make product upgrades for M$ programs and virus scanners such as Mcafee.

    I can update windows with FF now, and I don't need to bother with antiviruses, because I purge my comp every 6-10 months or whenever I install a new GFX card, motherboard or proc.

    IE = TEH SUCKS

    Get firefox, and dl a good virus protection program like AVG

    Next time when ur IE closes see if ur event viewer
    {control panel>Administative tools>Event Viewer(look for any errors in apps) says anything
    and xelink for ur updating issue turn on automatic update in the secruity center if u have XP
    and last newbie get firefox

    Listen very closely next time it closes. Its trying to tell you something. Its saying "Dont use me".
