Sig Of The Week Canceled Until Further Notice

Dosent matter who judges SOTW your still going to get members who disagree with the winners
and in time those judges will get pissed off and then they will complain right
viscious circle no matter how its done
its all based on which sigs the judges like the most 10 judges pic 5 sigs each
which are in order of 1 - 5
1st one = 5 points
2nd = 4 points
3rd = 3 points
4th = 2 points
5th = 1 point
i think the way the voting is atm is perfectly fine
its not the problem with the moderators doing and running SOTW we have no problem in doing so its not a burdon and if you guys enjoy it all the better
the problems arise when all you ever hear is
omg that sig sucks pick new judges
wtf is wrong with the winners
SUCKY winners so and so shoulda won
again

Couldnt agree more. Good ol days back in January to April were the best times of my graphics stage..now this forum blows.

You obviously need to reread the first page. Sig of the Week is canceled for many reasons, not because your bitching. We're revamping the entire process, and going to include a public vote. Since staff is voluntary, we're not working on Christmas either.

Just because you feel fathom is 'superior' to GameRenders, doesn't mean to can disrespect staff. Enjoy the suspension,

You sir...are a bunch of things I am not allowed to say, since it would be highly inappropriate. However, before you call the staff here at Gamerenders lazy, perhaps you would like to take a look at all the things they do for you without pay, on their own free time.

Such as busting spammers and scammers so that they cant fill this place with trash and unenjoyable trading of goods. Or perhaps that they keep the peace, and continue to help people, even though most of the times none of you bother to say a simple thank you.

What about all the new ideas that they help bring to the table. The organization they help with on the forums by making it easier for people like you, to find tutorials and renders and other graphical resources. But they do this all without pay, and in their own free time, so surely, they are quite lazy....

As for running out of ideas, perhaps you never bothered to look at the some odd 30+ pages long list of ideas for an SoTW. Ideas are plenty. However, its the rude, and obviously thought lacking comments such as the one you so clearly displayed yourself by calling them lazy, that has caused them to stop the SoTW until further notice.

A little appreciation and a thank you goes a long way, thank you for so kindly demonstrating why they shouldnt be bothered to take their free time to do something for free.

PEOPLE stop ----ing bothering them about the SOTW,i mean seriously they cant do it for a couple weeks probably because they got lifes of there own specially considering its winter break and their spending time with there families.THEY do got lifes unlike the rest of u bothering them 24/7 on on the internet.

o and about that fathom thing,seriously no one can even try and get into it,8/10 threads trying to get in are the mods making fun of and bringing down all these peoples work.They could atleast tell them keep on trying and be nice,but no they say ---- like Wow u suck and quit now.

see the thing is gamerenders doesnt have people making people feel bad when u post ur work in your stuff,FATHOM does.you have to be a pro just to post ur work,cant even get in FATHOM if ur nice or chat with ur friends.

o and btw if u check u will see that they posted the winner for this SOTW,and if u check u will see that only after 8 posts or so people are already bitching saying,wow those winners suk,there sigs are nothing special at all and also saying get better judges please.ever think this is why its cancelled?probably didnt.

but it could also been cause the mods needed a break since it is a holiday week
