GTR has 4WD, not AWD, but not much of a difference there. Yes, I understand the horsepower differences. Refr3sh proves a good point about the launch, though.
That's awesome, my boyfriend has been wanting the Skyline for so long. He was thinking of trying to get one imported from Japan a couple years from now - lol. But thank goodness for this news! We'll be sure to buy one when it comes out :lol:
Even if they release it here, I'd still pay the extra $$$ to import a Japanese version. Easily my favorite, and quite possibly the best street car on the planet.
Dont import a Japanese version, just get the Japanese engine. The only other differences will be interior and maybe some exterior, and you can get that online. But still, people, dont forget! Theyre gonna be EXPENSIVE. 90K is most peoples estimates for the new Skylines.
Well Titan. I'd have to disagree. I would consider a "ricer" a person who buys a car, such as a Dodge Neon (04 and earlier, the new ones have turbo), or a Chevy Cavalier, and put neon lights on it, a few decals, hood scoop, body kit and a coffee can on the back as exhaust. This car has a right to race. It's more race than show. But I do share the hatred for little fart rockets.
nobody would pay 90K for the new GTR thats Porsche 911/BMW M3 money and nobody is gona choose a Skyline over that no matter how good it is. my Estimate would be around 50K, its a tad exp for a jap sports car but since its a GTR it would be worth the dosh

yea my WRX runs 11s on a hot day without touching the internals. i smoked this dudes GTR at the drags last sat coz he didnt know how to launch his newly bought 500hp HKS GTR off the line. released his clutch too sharply even if he did have traction control on he probaly already fried his clutch plates trying to channel that 500hp while flooring the throttle as hard as he could :lol: :lol: :lol:
I drive an S15 with an SR20DET, HKS SSW Blow Off, HKS Front Mount S Series Intercooler, and then a few other goodies. It hasVertex body modeling which is the same kind they use on the D1 S15s, do dont go calling me a rice burner xD It runs 11s if Im lucky, Im still learning how to drive stuff like the quarter better.
